Theme: “Sailing Business through Crises and Searching for Opportunities”
The SLIIT Kandy UNI Industry Forum (SLIIT ACCEL-2/2024) was organized collaboratively by the Regional Economic Development Agency (REDA) of the Central Province and the Business Management Department of the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT), Kandy Campus.
The program took place on September 26, 2024, at the SLIIT Kandy UNI premises, under the guidance and supervision of the Secretary to the Central Province’s Chief and Education Ministry, along with the Director of REDA, H.M.M.U.B. Herath. The event saw the participation of the Head of the SLIIT Kandy UNI Campus, the Department Head of Business Management, members of the Board of Investment, faculty members of the SLIIT Business Management Department, and officials from REDA.
The event featured insightful sessions where entrepreneurs had the opportunity to discuss their challenges directly with resource persons. This interactive segment proved to be immensely beneficial for participants in resolving their business concerns.
Following the discussions, participants were awarded certificates by REDA and SLIIT Kandy UNI as recognition of their involvement in the forum. The SLIIT Kandy UNI Industry Forum (SLIIT ACCEL-2/2024) concluded successfully, leaving a lasting impact on the participants and the region’s entrepreneurial community.
