Tourism Sector Development Program in the Central Province – 2022
Trained beneficiaries from this program are providing services to tourists in areas such as Sigiriya and the Knuckles Mountain Range. These individuals are expected to receive licenses; however, due to a shortage of plastic cards required for printing, an alternative official document was issued by the Tourism Department to validate their employment.

Captain Dawson Tower Renovation – 2010
After years of neglect, the renovation of the historic Kadugannawa Captain Dawson Tower was successfully completed under the financial sponsorship of the Central Provincial Council, in collaboration with the Department of Archaeology and the Regional Economic Development Agency (REDA). The site has now been reopened to the public for viewing.
Entrepreneur Empowerment Program (Good Manufacturing Practices – GMP) – 2020
